Understanding the brief.

3one4 Capital asked for a system-first visual identity for a closed-door founder and investor forum.

Instead of starting with isolated assets, the objective was to first establish a visual language that could scale across multiple communication touchpoints.

 

The brief focused on three key areas:

• Branding a private founder and investor forum
• Creating a visual system before designing individual assets
• Translating portfolio insights into investor-ready visual communication

behavior is reshaping India’s economic landscape.

Design Principles.

To communicate the idea of India’s evolving consumption economy, the visual system was built around four guiding principles.

Structural

Layered linear forms represent systems, infrastructure, and long-term thinking.

These forms reflect how emerging consumption behaviors gradually

consolidate into scalable institutions.

Progressive

Directional movement within the design communicates momentum and growth.

The upward structure reinforces the idea

of an economy taking shape over time.

Confident

Minimal composition and restrained color choices signal institutional credibility and clarity. The design avoids visual noise to maintain a premium tone.

Formative

The lines taking shape visually

represent an evolving economy

becoming structured and scalable.

Creating the visual system.

The identity system is built around layered structural lines emerging from a central base.

This form symbolizes:

• consumption patterns consolidating into infrastructure
• new behaviors forming scalable business models
• ideas transforming into long-term institutions

Positioning the form at the base of the composition creates a sense of grounded emergence, reinforcing the idea that the future is actively forming rather than abstractly imagined.

A bold condensed sans-serif

typeface was used for primary

headlines to maintain strong presence across stage environments.

Headline: Bold 'Bebas Neue'

  • Strong vertical presence

NEUTRAL

Soft Off-White

Ensures clarity and legibility at scale

while maintaining a premium tone.

SECONDARY

Deep Petroleum Teal 

Signals depth, institutional credibility, and long-term, trustworthy capital thinking. 

PRIMARY

Muted Gold

Represents value creation and emerging opportunity. Used selectively to highlight “Future” — reinforcing growth and optimism.

STAGE BACKDROP

The stage backdrop translates the guiding principle into a visual structure.

The layered linear form emerging from the base represents:

• momentum stabilizing into infrastructure
• ideas forming scalable institutions

 

The headline remains the dominant focal point to ensure clarity within a large event environment.

The 3one4 logo appears as a signature rather than a promotional element.

DIGITAL COMMUNICATION

LinkedIn Banner

A LinkedIn event banner was created to communicate

the forum digitally. The design maintains hierarchy

and clarity while extending the event’s visual language.

 

The tone remains confident and non-promotional,

reflecting the curated nature of the event.

Outcome.

This project demonstrates how structured visual systems can simplify complex

narratives and create cohesive communication across multiple touchpoints.

 

By prioritizing hierarchy, clarity, and scalability, the visual language communicates credibility

while remaining adaptable across both physical event environments and digital platforms.

Final Reflection.

Working on this assignment reinforced how communication design

can transform abstract business ideas into clear visual narratives.

 

Design becomes most effective when it prioritizes:
